Announcements / Projects
Our goal is to continue to support the Churches, Missions, projects and the Convencion Bautista Hispanas that the Rev. Carlos & Guadalupe Gurrola were involved in. It is our intent to assist financially, give advice or to help in any way possible in spreading the Good News of our Lord Jesus.
The Gurrola Family has many projects that we would like to implement. We look to help those in need, a Church that requires assistance or coordinating a special event.
Here is a list of some of the projects that we have implemented:
- Grave Marker for Samuel Gurrola purchased.
- Grave Marker for Rev. Carlos & Guadalupe
Gurrola purchased.
- 2 Memorial Trees purchased at Rose Hills in memory of Rev. Carlos & Guadalupe Gurrola and Raquel Gurrola.
- "Clean Up Saturdays" at Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana de Lompoc started and completed.
- Remembering the Rev. Carlos & Guadalupe
Gurrola; Celebration Service held at Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana de
Santa Barbara. The Mayor's Office of the City of Santa Barbara honored the Rev. Carlos & Guadalupe Gurrola for all of their years of service in the city of Santa Barbara.
- Assist the Hispanic Department at the Anglo First Baptist Church of Lompoc; Deaconess Deborah A. Gonzalez.
- Continue to protest the improper February 2008 vote where the Church property of Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana de Lompoc was lost to Transformation Ministries.
- January 2009: Creation of the Rev. Carlos & Guadalupe Gurrola Recognition Awards program in cooperation with the Convencion de Iglesias Bautistas.
- The creation of the http://www.RevCarlosGurrola.com website.
We plan to do much more! All for the Glory of God!

Ellos fueron unos de los fundadores de las obras Hispanas a trabes de Iglesias Bautistas Americanas, y son parte de la historia de nuestras obras de los que nos precedieron.
