It's been an HONOR to work on this website. Many hours have been spent researching dates, historical information and gathering photos. I will never forget when I was about to graduate from Alhambra High School, Grandpa Gurrola called me into his bedroom and told me to sit down. He told me that he was proud of me, and that he wanted me to enroll at Fuller Theological Seminary to study to become a Baptist Minister. I listened to him, not knowing how I was going to respond. I looked at Grandpa Gurrola and said, "Grandpa, I don't feel that the Lord has called me to become a Minister, I plan to do something else." Grandpa put his head down, scratched his head, with sadness in his eyes he said, "well mijo, do whatever makes you happy as long as you serve the Lord and go to Church!" I gave him a big hug and said, "I promise." I will never forget his words of wisdom.
